Of Monsters and Men
After non-stop adventures on our first full day in Tokyo...
...Keith and I wanted a quiet nightcap.
So we ventured up to a peaceful oasis in the middle of Harajuku...
...the Kawaii Monster Cafe.
Upon arrival, we were told that we were heading into this monster's mouth and stomach...
...via a red carpet/tongue which I did not get a photo of because my brain was over-stimulated and short circuiting. Once inside, I learned the true meaning of over-stimulation.
As dance music blared, the neon guts of this monster took on a life of their own.
A drag performer greeted us and walked us to our table...
...where we ordered something called the "Druggy Cocktail," which arrived with some test tubes, and instructions.
We were to pour the red one first, then the blue. "If the colors separate, your experiment is a success."
My experiment was, in fact, a success...
The rest of the night here is pretty much a blur...
...as we were running on fumes (both from lack of sleep, and from the Mario Karts), druggy cocktails, and the digestive enzymes of the monster who has eaten us.

Whereas Keith was clearly drinking poison...
...delicious, delicious poison.
The rest of the night here is pretty much a blur...
